Resident update: Fire Alarm Testing 28-29th Sept

Dear Resident,

RE: FIRE ALARM TESTS THURSDAY 28TH AND FRIDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER

As the project to build Harrogate Borough Council’s Civic Centre nears completion and we approach the handover of the building to the council, we will be undertaking vital Health and Safety testing of the building over the coming week. This will include testing the emergency systems and the building’s fire alarms.

Audibility testing will take place on Thursday 28th and Friday 29th September which may be heard by those living within the immediate vicinity of the building. This will involve us testing the sound levels throughout the building and the surrounding external areas a number of times through the course of the day.

We apologise for any inconvenience that the subsequent noise may cause and will work as quickly and efficiently as possible to undertake the testing and limit disruption.

Thank you for your continued patience,

Kevin Parrott, Contracts Manager at Harry Fairclough
